Fastener Training Week offers five intensive days of education and plant tours as part of the acclaimed FTI Certified Fastener SpecialistTM (CFS) advanced technical training program.

After completing this invaluable industry training in a small group environment and passing a final exam, attendees are eligible for the CFS designation.

Curriculum:

• Material specifications

• Process specifications

• Dimensional specifications

• Quality systems and specifications

• Lot traceability

• Test reports

• Print reading and tolerances

• Thread gaging and dimension inspection

• Torque tension

• Learning labs, interactive exercises and quizzes to reinforce learning

• Plant tours of manufacturing, secondary processes and testing facilities
  
  

Required Materials:

• IFI Inch Fastener Standards Book (10th or 11th edition)

• To order the 11th edition from FTI, select “Additional IFI Inch Standards Book $320) in the dropdown menu at the top of this page (must pre-order at least 2 weeks before class)

The five-day training is advanced, so we recommend attendees have two years of experience.

Registration Includes:

• Five consecutive days of training starting Monday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. and concluding Friday, November 18 at 12:30 p.m

• Certificate of Completion

• Eligibility for the Certified Fastener Specialist™ designation

Cost:

• Early Bird Rate (paid by October 31): $3,300 for the first person per company; $2,800 for each additional person per company ($500 off for Pac-West, NFDA, IFI, MWFA, NCFA, SFA and AIM Prime Members)

• After October 31: Add $500 per person

• Disclaimer: Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made no later than August 1 and are subject to a $350 processing fee. All no-shows will be invoiced for full registration fees.
